Safety Patrol

School Safety Patrol membership is an honored position. A good School Safety Patrol is always on the job. Here at W. T. Moore, fifth graders earn the opportunity to serve as Patrols by having E's in behavior. Each Patrol is assigned an area of the school to protect. Midyear, students that aren't selected as Patrols during the 1st semester are given an opportunity to do so if they qualify.

The characteristics of a Moore Safety Patrol are to always set a good example and to perform duties faithfully. Also, they need to be dependable and trustworthy. It is important to wear the patrol belt and badge properly and proudly. We expect our Patrols to be courteous and polite at all times and treat others as they would like to be treated. It is an honor being a W. T. Moore Safety Patrol.
