Principal’s Message

Dear Students, Parents, Staff, and Community Members,

I want to welcome you to W.T. Moore Elementary, home of the Mustangs!  I am so proud to serve as your Principal.  My educational career began as a fifth grade teacher here in 2005.  W. T. Moore has alwas held a special place in my heart.  The faculty, staff, and Parents & Teachers for Moore group work so well together to make amazing things happen for our students.

W.T. Moore opened in 1968 and has proudly served Leon County since then.  At the end of 2025, we will wrap up a multi-year construction project in which all classrooms have been completely renovated.  We are very proud of this $20 million investement and are excited to continue to serve our students in our new spaces.

Our school prides itself on providing meaningful home-school connections and learning opportunities for our students.  The connection among our school community is amazing and it makes our school a special place to learn and grow.

If I can provide you with information about our school or address any concerns you might have, please feel free to reach out to me.
